Royal Cauldon Victoria Pattern Porcelain Jug - Large LinenDuring the later part of 1962 the business of Cauldon Potteries Ltd. (Bristol 1962 69) was acquired by Pountney & Co. Ltd. of Bristol and the business moved to their existing factory in Bristol as Cauldon Potters Ltd. Pountney & Co. produced some 19th century Couldon patterns under the 'Royal Cauldon' trade name. In 1969 the Bristol works were closed and production moved to Redruth in Cornwall. The new company used the name Cauldon Bristol Potteries

This item is a beautiful Susie Cooper Tiger Lily creamer and open sugar bowl in the Kestrel shape and decorated in soft oat and fern colour bands on cream background and the stunning Tiger Lily present on each piece
and in very good condition with a spring loaded hinged lid and the double holder spring within functioning perfectly
the bowl itself has been made with fluted sides and a scalloped rim
when the firm used the W&B mark

This is a Royal Stafford China (Thomas Poole & Gladstone China Ltd) fine porcelain biscuit plate designed in the squared shape with a scalloped rim and 4 handles with embossed scroll motifs in powder blue
