Any other are too cheap and it makes the slime nasty

These are tiny and kept just like rubber duckies

I water around the sides of their bin and leave the middle dry

I remove the old slime and sit it ontop of the lid

I keep them on reptisoil though as it seems to work best for them. 2" worth. Then I add a chunky layer ontop of about an inch. Chunky wood. These like lots of spagnum moss on either end and then a few pieces of bark that have a bunch of crevices they can get into. I do not add ventilation to the bins. Depending on where you are and if your humidity is high or not you can add a vent. But they like
