Apple Portuguese Faience <br> White <br> (Ø 30 x H 24) cm Greeting Cards 23 kgCapacity (per glass): 290Faience is originally French derived from the Italian city of Faenza in the 16th century and refers to a specific sub section of artisan made ceramics which have been produced in Portugal for hundreds of years. Like porcelain, Faience is formed using kaolin, a fine, soft white clay. It is a type of white ceramic, which has a ceramic mass less rich in kaolin than porcelain and is fired at a lower temperature than porcelain. After firing, faience
