Also gives good grip on older snow below freezing without sacrificing glide. The VR hard kick waxes are fluorinated and made for top racing, but have also proved interesting for Recreational and Sport skiers because of excellent properties, particularly around 0C (32F). New fallen snow 0C to +2C (32F to 36F). Old fine grained snow 0C to 3C (32F to 27F).
