Frantisek Simon, Czech., (1877-1942) Tempera and had a devastating giftColor Etching & Aquatint, 1911, Baker Campbell 171, ed. unknown, signed with the dated monogram in the image and signed in pencil & with the red chop in the lower margin, on cream wove paper. With such true feeling for his many subjects, great facility in color printing, and a keen eye for composition and detail, Simon's prints have enjoyed renewed interest from both dealers and collectors.
