Benson, Amer., (1862-1951) Linocut who's name is also "Nell"Drypoint, 1920, P. 170, Ed. 150, P. 170, 9 11 16 x 13 3 4, on cream wove Japan Vellum paper, toned within mat opening, some tiny discreet rust flecks in image, traces of brown water tape at margin edges, verso. A large, ethereal and beautifully drawn composition by Benson with a distinctly Japanese influence.
