The very gray porcelain is due to delivery difficulties of kaolin from France
all production passed to Royal Copenhagen and was stamped with their house mark
a glass cuff and the white glass tube

Mørkegrønne Solbjerg tallerkner med egern Manchetknapper The lid is a littleHeight 3 cm. Diameter 21 cm. Stamped Aluminia Denmark 1558 1800. The dish has a dark green top and brown bottom. They are decorated with a squirrel. Solbjerg was designed by Nils Thorsson for Alumina and produced from 1935. It won the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition that same year. Nice condition.
