The lamps are an extension of my sculptural practice in which I use plaster and cheese cloth to wrap or mummify structural skeletons

It also interjects a uniquely feminist narrative into this historical process

"milk and tears" is a series of salted paper prints speaking to my experience with new motherhood

Their artwork is often intricately crafted of textiles and beadwork and incorporates stories of their childhood and journey through life

and replicates the labor and sacrifice of parenthood
