richness and power if a bit less refinement to the intensely mineral-inflected flavors that culminate in a wonderfully refreshing

more so than the more linear and focused 2016 Brunello Pianrosso (that I preferred by a tiny margin)

This knockout wine will age splendidly and will likely merit an even higher score in eight to ten years’ time
