While the medium weight flavors do not have the same size and power of the Clos des Chênes

Otherwise there is good richness to the round

It delivers dark fruit nuances over a mid-weight and compact mouthfeel

Bouchard Pere et Fils, Echezeaux Vintage:2016 (88-91)/2020+(from a Domaine owned parcel in En Orveaux). Here the wood is a bit more modulated though still easily visible on the otherwise fresh, spicy and ripe red berry fruit liqueur like aromas. There is a cool and refined mouth feel to the delicious medium bodied flavors that possess a dusty and lightly mineral driven finish. This moderately structured effort could be enjoyed young or aged to good effect if desired. (91 93) 2024+
