This high carbon steel, "Tanto" style slicer with "Hamon" was crafted in a limited batch of only eight individually numbered knives. The Hamon line is created by applying a special clay paste to the spine of each blade, resulting in a unique difference in hardness between the covered and uncovered areas. After a great deal of polishing, this process produces a faint white line along the blade and a
