The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV with a bead blast finish, so it continues to look great even with regular use. The drop point blade is an all around performer for cutting and slicing and is partially serrated for sawing tasks. The ball bearing pivot system provides smooth opening, like that of a spring assisted knife for a satisfying and responsive opening action while the liner lock
