Parts of the plant and grass are gilded

This kamon has been used by Matsunaga clan

Therefore I suspect that this piece could have been made by his adopted son who signed "Rinsendo Mitsuo"

At the bottom of the back side there are three Kanji letters

Iron Tsuba Signed "Iwai Yoshimichi" Decorated with Amida Yasurime Kashira: 32 mm x 16Iron tsuba signed "Iwai Yoshimichi". He was a armour and sword fittings maker at the end of edo period. This tsuba is made in the Nobuie style. Very well forged with a melted surface finish. Decorated with amida yasurime. Sukashi are most probably stars, not sure which constellation. Made in late edo period. Size: 85 mm x 80 mm x 3 mm
