One of only 2 designs in this series featuring a special backstamp - the Fish J series in low relief was a design registered in Australian and features the Old Wife and Coral Strand scenes

It is thought by many collectors that a Fine Bone China body produces a superior pattern example (and is more impervious to crazing)

The handle tilts and opens the lid mechanism (but go carefully)
